A warm welcome to this week’s Tangled Tuesday post, along with wishes for a very Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you! I have a whole bunch of fun (and even some holiday-green-inspired) tangling goodies to share with you, so let’s get on with another Tangled Tuesday!
Tangling Goodies
Get ready for some exciting news! While of course I do have a Facebook Page for Alphabet Salad Productions (and have had for quite some time), up until this past weekend I didn’t have one specifically for Ten Thousand Tangles. But this little oversight has been remedied! Ten Thousand Tangles now has its own little home on Facebook, and I invite you to “Like” it to stay up-to-date (between Tangled Tuesday posts, that is!) with what’s going on my tangled world.
At this point it’s mostly a collection of photo albums of my artwork, but I expect there will be other tangling-related tidbits posted along the way – stay tuned!
New Tangles
This week I learned PinBawl, B’Twined, Rysa, and Myko, all from TanglePatterns.com.
Still no sign of my new Moleskine sketchbooks…
Tangling in Progress
I did quite a bit of work on my current 8″ x 10″ WIP this past week, and have a couple of progress photos to share with you.
I always find it so interesting to see how these pieces evolve. Perhaps other tanglers are different, but in my world there’s just no predicting the end result. It definitely keeps things from becoming tedious!
Finished Projects
The Diva’s Challenge this week was to GREEN UP our tiles in recognition of St. Patrick’s Day. How fun! I don’t typically tangle in colour (at least not yet!), so it was an interesting experience to break out my green pen and pencil to create this holiday-themed tile.
I’m very pleased with how it turned out! I used only two tangle patterns to complete this piece – one of my go-to fillers called Tipple, along with my current favourite, Luv-a, which I learned not too long ago.
It’s so great to be back in the swing of tangling. 🙂
