The picture I chose for today’s Photo Friday challenge prompt of “Intense” fits the criteria in a couple of different ways – first, due to the intensity of the sky in the photo, but also because of the intense debate and controversy surrounding the Ambassador Bridge, its owner, and the various proposals and plans for a brand new crossing between Canada and the US.

My photo, however, isn’t intensely controversial at all – more like intensely fun, as I took it from the passenger seat of a car filled with girlfriends heading to the Detroit suburbs for a day-long shopping trip! Now that I think of it, it’s been a long time since I’ve done one of those trips… in fact, I haven’t been across the bridge at all (or through the tunnel, for that matter) for several months now. Perhaps it’s time for an excursion sometime soon?
I guess we’ll just have to see. In the meantime, Happy Friday!
