My choice for today’s Photo Friday “Beach” prompt was taken in Victoria, BC when I visited last fall. The fog down at the ocean’s edge was, as they say, as thick as pea soup – so much so that the normally very prominent breakwater was completely hidden from view behind a mass of dense whiteness.

Ever since my high school days (a lifetime ago!), the breakwater has been one of my favourite and regularly-visited Victoria destinations… so fortunately I was able to take a walk to the end and back – on a clear day! – before I had to wrap up my visit and say goodbye to Victoria once again.
