Herbie the Cocker Spaniel is about a year old, and owes his life to Cathy at Camp Cocker in Los Angeles, California. He found his way to Victoria, BC, Canada through the wonderful Angels Under Our Wings Cocker Spaniel Rescue, who took him in when Camp Cocker was overloaded. This is where my husband and I discovered Herbie, and we are so pleased and grateful to announce that he will be moving into his forever home – ours! – this coming Saturday.
We couldn’t be much more excited! There will be some adjustments to be made (particularly in the area of making sure that Herbie and our 17-year-old cat Spider can live peaceably together), but we are up for the challenge and more than ready for the joy and fun Herbie will no doubt bring to our lives.
