Everything but the dog

(Note: This post was written by Laurel Regan and originally published in a separate blog called “Herbie Tales”, which was later merged with Alphabet Salad.)

We now have food, salmon oil, and treats…

food

…food and water bowls…

bowls

…some toys, a chewie, and a daytime bed for the living room…

bed

…a nighttime bed and crate for our bedroom…

crate

…grooming supplies…

grooming

…an ID tag and license…

tags

…a leash and biodegradable doggie doo bags…

walkies

…bells for the back door…

bells…and some books and DVDs to help us learn.

books

We’ve also got a harness and seatbelt adapter on order so Herbie can travel safely with us in the car.

The back yard is completely secure and the cat’s litter box is now only accessible through a flap that (we hope!) is too small for Herbie.

So I think we’re about as ready as we’ll ever be… see you tomorrow, Herbie dog!
