Tangle Practice
My pre-coffee brain wasn’t working so well when I started this morning’s tangle session – I messed up the grid on “Japan Diamond” so badly that I had to cover up the square in my sketchbook and start over! It’s not too surprising, as while I don’t seem to have any problem with square grids, I’ve had trouble with diamond grids in the past. Fortunately my sticky notes are the exact size I need in cases such as this! In the end, even though I continued to struggle with the grid on the tile itself, I’m pretty happy with the finished product.
Border & String
Just to carry on with the whole A to Z theme, I thought I’d make each day’s “string” resemble the appropriate letter for the day. I can’t always promise that the finished tiles will look anything like the letters – it all depends on which tangles I’m using and how the drawing evolves. We’ll just have to see what happens!
