Archive 2004: I want to crochet…

(Note: This post was written by Laurel Regan and originally published in a separate blog called “Fibre Yarns”, which was later merged with Alphabet Salad.)

…but it hurts too much right now! My right thumbnail broke a couple of days ago, right down to the quick, and is still at that throbbing pain stage whenever I bump it. 🙁 I can’t imagine holding a crochet hook!

Maybe tomorrow.

My short-term goal is to finish Market Bag #2 soon. I started the strap at our Meetup on Thursday (which, by the way, was a lot of fun!), so I don’t have too much farther to go before I’m done.

I brought home the digital camera from work this weekend, so I’m hoping to take some pictures of my projects and post them here over the next few days.

I need to decide on my next project. I am definitely going to make at least one more Market Bag (I’ve decided that I’m going to keep making them until I’m able to do them right!), but I think I’ll need a bit of a break from them for awhile. I’ll have to do some browsing through the pattern sites to get ideas for what to make.
