Albeggiando

Today I braved the piles of cardboard boxes and basement miscellany (three months in and we’re still not fully unpacked) and dug out some books related to an interest I only began to pursue last year, back before the madness of the move kicked in.

As I leafed through the various volumes I’d unearthed, a sense of excitement started to simmer and, unexpectedly, a stream of ideas began rolling in. It was amazing! After long months of thinking about very little else other than work and moving, rediscovering this totally non-work, non-move-related interest was so refreshing and envigorating.

Now, in order to delve back in to my burgeoning interest (and the potential it holds), I need to find more hours in the day. But wait! In a little more than two month’s time I’ll have those hours – a whole Monday’s worth each week, in fact, just waiting to be filled.

Stay tuned…
